文档简介Herein,astudyofthesurfacemodificationofzirconiumbyanodicoxidationisreported.TheoxidationprocesswascarriedoutinasolutioncontainingK2SiO3andKOH.Theanodizationwasconductedatvoltagesof100,200and400V.Itwasfoundthatthemorphologyofthesurfacedidnotchangeduringtheoxidationofthezirconiumat100and200V.Theapplicationof400Vresultedintheincorporationofsiliconintotheformedoxidelayerandasignificantmodificationofthesurfacemorphology.Theobtainedcoatingsaretypicalofcoatingproducedduringanelectrolyticplasmaoxidationprocessandcontainaconsiderableamountofsilicon.TheanodicoxidationofzirconiumleadstoasignificantimprovementinthecorrosionresistanceofthematerialinthepresenceofRinger’sphysiologicalsolution.
