文档简介Wehaveusedadesignofexperiments（DOE）approachtooptimiserapidlyasetofmicrowaveassistedconditionsforthePetasisreaction.Theoptimalconditionsinvolvedthemicrowaveheatingofthereactioncomponentsindichloromethane（1Mconcentration）at120℃for10mininafocussedmicrowave（CEMExplorer）.TheseconditionsweresuccessfullyappliedtoarangeofPetasisreactionsemployingeitherglyoxylicacidorsalicylaldehydeasthecarbonylcomponentalongwithanumberofaryl/heteroarylboronicacidsandaminecomponents.
