文档简介FabricationandcharacterizationofhydrophobicPVDFhollowfibermembranesfordesalinationthroughdirectcontactmembranedistillationDeyinHou,JunWang,DanQu,ZhaokunLuan,Xiao极ngRenThemixtureofinorganicsaltLiClandsolublepolymerpolyethyleneglycol(PEG)1500asnon-solventadditivewasintroducedtofabricatehydrophobichollowfibermembraneofpolyvinylidenefluoride(PVDF)byphaseinversionprocess,usingN,N-dimethylacetamide(DMAc)assolventandtapwaterasthecoagulationmedium.ComparedwithotherthreemembranesfromPVDF/DMAc,PVDF/DMAc/LiClandPVDF/DMAc/PEG1500dopesolution,itcanbeobservedobviouslybyscanningelectronmicroscope(SEM)thatthemembranespunfromPVDF/DMAc/LiCl/PEG1500dopehadlongerfinger-likecavities,ultra-thinskins,narrowporesizedistributionandporousnetworksponge-likestructureowingtothesynergisticeffectofLiClandPEG1500.Besides,themembranealsoexhibitedhighporosityandgoodhydrophobicity.Duringthedesalinationprocessof3.5wt%sodiumchloridesolutionthroughdirectcontactmembranedistillation(DCMD),thepermeatefluxachieved40.5kg/m2handtherejectionofNaClmaintained99.99%withthefeedsolutionat81.8Candthecolddistillatewaterat20.0C,thisperformanceiscomparableorevenhigherthanmostofthepreviousreports.Furthermore,a200hcontinuouslydesalinationexperimentshowedthatthemembranehadstablepermeatefluxandsoluterejection,indicatingthattheas-spunPVDFhollowfibermembranemaybeofgreatpotentialtobeutilizedintheDCMDprocess.
