文档简介ConversionoftheSurfacePropertyofOleicAcidStabilizedSilverNanoparticlesfromHydrophobictoHydrophilicBasedonHost-GuestBindingInteractionMingChen,WenHuaDing,YangKong,andGuoWangDiao*Thispaperdescribesageneralmethodtochangethesurfacepropertyoftheoleicacidstabilizedsilvernanoparticlesandsuccessfultranferringofthesilvernanoparticlesfromtheorganicphaseintotheaqueousphase.Byvigorousshakingofabiphasicmixtureofthesilverorganosolprotectedwitholeicacidandp-sulfonatedcalix[4]arene(pSC4)aqueoussolution,itisbelievedthataninclusioncomplexisformedbetweenoleicacidmoleculesandpSC4,andtheprotectivelayerofthesilvernanoparticlesshiftsfromhydrophobictohydrophilicinnature,whichdrivesthetransferofsilvernanoparticlesfromtheorganicphaseintotheaqueousphase.TheefficiencyofthephasetransfertotheaqueoussolutiondependsontheinitialpSC4concentration.ThepSC4-oleicacidinclusioncomplexstabilizednanoparticlescanbestableforlongperiodsoftimeinaqueousphaseunderambientatmosphericconditions.TheprocedureofphasetransferhasbeenindependentlyverifiedbyUV-vis,transmissionelectronmicroscopy,Fouriertransforminfrared,and1Hnuclearmagneticresonancetechniques.
