对材料、零件、构件进行力学性能和工艺性能试验机仪器和设备为材料试验机。

金属材料试验机：电子式wan能试验机、电液式wan能试验机、液压式wan能试验机、电液伺服wan能试验机、拉力试验机、压力试验机、液压式张拉机(液压式千斤顶)、扭转试验机、蠕变试验机、松驰试验机、摆锤式冲击试验机、疲劳试验机、高频试验机等；布氏硬度计、洛氏硬度计、维氏硬度计、显微硬度计、布洛维多用硬度计、肖氏硬度计、里氏硬度计等。　　

非金属材料试验机：橡胶塑料试验机、恒应力水泥压力试验机、混凝土试验机、陶瓷试验机、木材试验机、纸张试验机、皮革试验机、界面张力仪等;　　邵氏硬度计、国际橡胶硬度计等。　　

力与变形检测仪器：力传感器、标准测力仪、位移传感器、引伸计、扭矩仪、力标准机、扭矩标准机等。　　

工艺试验机：摩擦磨损试验机、弹簧试验机、弯折试验机、杯突试验机、线材扭转试验机等。　　

动态试验设备：电动振动台、液压振动台、机械振动台、碰撞试验台、冲击台、包装件跌落试验机、包装件水平冲击试验机、车辆专用检测设备、模拟汽车运输试验台等;　　通用卧式平衡机、通用立式平衡机、软支承平衡机、硬支承平衡机、高速平衡机、现场平衡仪等。　　

无损检测仪器：磁粉探伤机、荧光磁粉探伤机、X射线探伤机、γ射线探伤机、超声探伤仪、超声检测仪、涡流探伤仪、声发射探伤仪等。　　

试验机功能附件：高温炉、低温箱、液压夹头、专用夹具等。　　

我国试验机行业已有五十多年的发展史，生产试验机的公司和企业已遍布全国各地，目前可生产几百种规格、型号和系列的试验机产品，我国的试验机市场已形成一定的规模，试验机产品的发展日趋大型化、智能化、动静态功能复合化，有的试验机产品已出口到国外，远销到亚洲和欧美市场，具有一定的竞争能力。
