ESI’s New Wave Research Division is pleased to introduce the NWR266MACRO laser ablation instrument for both ICP-MS and ICP-OES. The NWR266MACRO builds on the success of its predecessor, but without the compromises.
The NWR266MACRO is now fully equipped with a large format, high performance 100mm x 100mm ablation chamber for accommodation of multiple samples and calibration standards. This enables, for the first time, a truly automated bulk analysisthe NWR266MACRO be-haves like an auto-sampler for your ICP-MS or OES instrument.
An ultra high energy, ESI designed and manufactured, Tempest 300 laser source is utilized to deliver more than 30mJ of bulk analysis ena-b领 energy, whilst specialized aperture imaged optics deliver craters over 750μm. Large crater sizes and high energy produce high rates of abla-tion which make the system ideal for bulk analysis by ICP-MS or ICP-OES. Detection limits <1 ppm in the solid are achievable for many elements by ICP-OES.
Combined with the fully software controlled focusing stage, the wide-angle touch-screen system and the integrated mass flow controller, ESI has delivered a highly capable bulk analysis laser ablation tool.
Class Leading ActiveView Software
The NWR213 is supplied with an internal control PC and pre-loaded with class leading ActiveView control software. ActiveView provides complete control of all laser ablation parameters, multi-experiment programming, sample view-ing, stage positioning, gas control, and bi-directional triggering of the ICP-MS to provide a fully automated analysis. Image import and autofocus software functions are available.
