The Vaisala PTU-series transmitters are designed for demanding industrial and laboratory applications where multiple environmental conditions need to be monitored. Typical applications include environmental monitoring in calibration laboratories, industrial test cells, and weather stations. The PTU transmitter uses Vaisala's BAROCAP® sensor for pressure, HUMICAP® sensor for humidity, and a platinum RTD sensor for temperature-all known for their high accuracy and excellent long-term stability.
These versatile, multipurpose transmitters feature three analog outputs and a RS-232 serial interface which is compatible with major GPS receivers and NMEA-coded messages. Models 37463-12 and-14 feature a graphic/numeric display and an easy-to-use, menu-based user interface. All models having da
