Printing
Before a chart is printed. the plate is checked for uniform flatness over the entire chart area. Skilled craftsmen take extreme care that their presses produce only clean and crisp graduations on the fine surface of the paper. Even the temperature and humidity in the Taylor pressroom are con- trolled so that ink and paper encounter minimum
