Rice is an important food source for humans and represents the principal food source for over half the world population. It''s native to south-east Asia, and has been coultured for over 7000 years.
In this application note, individule rice grains are investigated using the XGT 5000 x-ray fluorescence micro-analyser,providing insight into the elemental changes occurring during rice processing.
